How Score Conversion Works

Converting a score to a grade is a two-step process. First, calculate the percentage: divide your score by the total possible points and multiply by 100. Then, map the percentage to a grade using the selected grading scale. For example, if you scored 37 out of 50: • Percentage = (37 ÷ 50) × 100 = 74% • US Standard: C • European 0-10: 7.4 • Italian School: 7 (Discreto) Switch to 'Score / Total' mode in the Quick Grader for instant conversion — just enter your score and total points.

Use 'Score / Total' mode to quickly answer questions like 'what grade is 16 out of 20?' — enter 20 as total and 16 as your score.
